About us

The Hong Kong Bioethics Association was established in 1996. Members include academic staff in tertiary institutions, lawyers, clinical professionals, and educationalists.

Objectives of the Association are as follow:

1. for the benefit of the general public, to promote and increase awareness of bioethics issues in Hong Kong;

2. to identify collaboration between all those interested and concerned with bioethics issues;

3. to collate and disseminate information relating to bioethics issues;

4. to organize meetings and seminars on issues of bioethics;

5. to publish newsletters, on issues of bioethics.
